I just thought I would start with a quick post about how I am going into this gallery not only as an Artist but also as a collector. I have a number of works from local artists and friends as well as more renowned artist like Sandra Blow and David Hockney. All the works I buy are important to me for many different reason, each one I can remember where, when and why I got the piece and still love every work because I have bought based on an initial attraction
I don't want to go on for ever and seen as it's the art that’s important I thought I would share one of my favourite works with you all. It's 'Three Square' by Sandra Blow. An important name in British art; this piece is a very simple print that pays reference to modernist grid formula as well as the rich process of etching itself.
